Successful Separation of X- and Y-Spermatozoa Ongole Crossbreed Using a Nano-Albumen Gradient Column

The objective of this study was to determine the efficacy separating X- and Y-sperm using nano-albumen (NA). material used in fresh semen Ongole Crossbreed bulls with progressive motility ≥ 70%. Treatments for top bottom fractions were T0 (BSA 5% : 10%) as a control, T1 (NA 2% 4%), T2 4% 6%), T3 6% 8%). Sexed evaluated characteristics kinematics, proportions sexed validated morphometric polymerase chain reaction methods. data on kinematics analyzed by ANOVA Minitab 18. results revealed that separated NA column generally showed same sperm quality BSA column. However, total T3y treatment fraction significantly lower (p<0.05) compared control. spermatozoa not different; however, value different T1y, BCF T2y from control fraction. acrosome status better than fraction, DNA integrity damage ranging 5%. present indicated that: (1) Nano-Albumen gradient could be successfully separate Y-spermatozoa, (2) characteristic values acrosomal status, comparable those (3) combination treatments (T2x) (T2y) appeared good ability X Y-sperm.
